Hawak Ko Ang Langit is a Filipino drama series produced by TAPE, Inc. for GMA Network. It featured Assunta de Rossi and Jomari Yllana as the lead cast. Written by RJ Nuevas and directed by Gina Alajar premiered July 14, 2003 and concluded November 7, 2003. ==Synopsis== ''Hawak Ko Ang Langit'' is a compelling tale of love, deceit and revenge... Lorena (Assunta de Rossi) is a public school teacher who lives a simple life and shares her knowledge to her students and at the same time, fulfills her obligations as a dutiful daughter to her ageing parents. Complications in Lorena’s life, though, happened when she falls in love with the town’s rich boy, Julian (Jomari Yllana), who is likewise smitten by the girls for his looks and pleasant attitude in life. Julian’s tough mother and the mayoress of their town, Amapolla (Melanie Marquez) however does not approve of his sons affair with the poor Lorena. But Julian fought for his love for Lorena and succeeded in wooing her to tie the knot with him. Unfortunately, a tragic event happened to Lorena that led to the death of her loved ones. She lost her teaching job too and worst—Julian succumbed to his mothers wishes and abandoned her.
